1st Day of Internship!

I’m finally doing it! I’m on my internship sem! Honestly, I was not looking forward to it but I was wrong. I kinda like it actually! Thank god there are other 3 trainees with me and they’re all cool! Even the staffs are cool! Damn funny and joke around most time! Lol!
Even though the company is quite a small one but I think it’s better. Know why?!?! When the company is small, that means they have less staffs and when they have less staffs that means they’ll make the interns involve in every project like what I did today. But since it was my 1st day, they only make me do ‘proof reading’ and the ‘squaring’ of the interim payment certificate. Basically it’s just checking the figures before they key them into the computer.
Even the bosses are so cool! =)

I just love make up!

For those who are not into make-ups or don’t believe in make up to look beautiful, then it’s up to them. It’s their choice and it’s totally OK! But as for me…?!?! I am just so much into make up. I have no idea why, maybe I’m used to watching my mom put them on every time we’re out since I was a kid or maybe I just realized that make up makes everyone especially we ladies look extra beautiful than we really are!
I’ve been watching all these make up tutorials on youtube and it really got me realized that most girls, well most people look 100 times better in make up! I know some people might think, WHAT’S THE POINT? IT’S FAKE ANYWAY?!?! But you know what, I just don’t care coz I look good in them. I mean, compare my face without anything on and with make up make a lot of differences!
Oh yeah some people might probably say, natural beauty is so much more important than some foundation or concealer but seriously?!?!

Not everyone is gifted with smooth radiant complexion that looks super perfect without any flaw! And being a student with super tight budget, it’s almost impossible to get all those expensive facial products that will supposedly give super perfect skin to the consumers.

When I say make up, I don’t mean those super thick 1 inch foundation sticking to the face with super duper bright purple or green or blue eye shadow.

It’s basically mean a touch of foundation that will cover those flaws or the uneven skin tone (like I have and I just wonder how to fix that!) and some eyeliner or mascara to make those eyes pop up a lil or maybe just touch of some natural shades of blusher to make those cheeks look more radiant than the normal dull one. Well, of course if you would prefer putting some extra for some special occasion, WHY NOT?!?!

This is nice..really!

I once went to this Clinique beauty talk in my college and the guy who was giving the speech actually advised us to put on make up to work and especially when we’re going for any interviews. He said that it just gives the impression of being presentable and always being ready. But then again, of course not too thick...he advised to stick with two colours and I remembered 3 of the main colours for interviews. Those are BLUE which means CONFIDENT, GREEN for POWER and BROWN for MATURITY. So there you go people, why I just love make up so much!

How should I start this?!?! Have anyone of you ever been out…(clubbing especially) with some girl friends and sometimes you felt threatened by their beauty that you feel you wish you have had a better nose, better eyes, better face bone structure, better body, taller…and these stuffs that you can never change! Unless you’re parents are super duper rich then you can consider plastic surgery to fix some of the imperfection in your body BUT even so, there are certain things that not even plastic surgery can help! For example, being short and you wished that you’re at least an inch taller or you have this big upper arm that looks ugly in sleeveless tops cos you’re born with bigger bones and you wish that they’re smaller.
Well that’s how I feel every time I’m out with certain friends or my boyfriend friends’ girlfriends! Oh god I feel so so unattractive even if I’m in my best outfit and make up and they’re in their T-shirt and jeans with NO make up! Well, admit it the make up DO make you look and feel beautiful!
These girls just got it! They have this perfect body, perfect height (which makes me feel like midget when I stand next to them) perfect sharp nose, perfect eyes with just a glide of eyeliner is enough to make them look super gorgeous! How do I compete with that?!?!?! Anyway this is not really about competing but sometimes when you’re always surrounding by physically ‘perfect-looking’ girls, it just brings your self esteem down. *sigh* You just kept asking ‘WHY DON’T I LOOK THAT PERFECT? IT’S NOT FAIR SOME PEOPLE GET TO LOOK SO PERFECT!’
And that was how I felt for quite sometimes till I realized that everyone’s different and they’re special in their own way.
This was what happen, a day before, as I was walking in The Mall (yeah I’m always there cos it’s just right behind the apartment and it takes like 2 mins to walk there) to meet up my bf and their friends, suddenly there’s this Turkish guy came to approach me at the escalator and started to introduce himself, asking where I’m from and stuff. I was kinda surprised cos no one ever did that to me. But he said this, ‘I’ve seen you so many times here in this mall, and every time I just couldn’t brace myself to talk to you and today I did it! Btw you’ve got the most amazing eyes!’
Well of course I felt fluttered cos the eyes that I always wished to be bigger actually been complimented!
Then something else happen on the night at the very same day. My bf’s band had to replace some band to perform in Quatro, The Spring lounge. Since this place has 4 seasons’ clubs in it, instead of going to The Spring with the band, I went to The Autumn club which plays more kinda ‘dancing’ up beat songs! Entrance is free for ladies too! Lol! So, there I was in the club A-L-O-N-E drinking at the bar while pretending to be interested in the Arsenal vs Man U match, where everyone else was either with bunch of friends or with their partners. Then, came 1 guy started to introduce himself and stuff (which is also the first time it happens to me in a club!) asking where I’m from and bla bla bla..and he said the very same thing, ‘YOU’VE GOT BEAUTIFUL EYES!’ I was like ‘oh really?’ (Blushing of course..lol!) Oh, and he’s a Jordanian.
So, there you have it. I got TWO numbers in one day! Lol! Not like I’m gonna call them but it just boost out your esteem a lil bit!
So no matter how you wished you can look better than you are now, certain things just can’t be altered or changed! It is you who can make the best out of it and live with it rather than complaining bout it all the time. No matter how much I always wished I have had a perfect looking body but I just can’t get it… YET! (see, I hate working out and anything associate with something that will make me sweat!) And it all comes down to the people around you, your loved ones! Just a few days ago, me and my bf were eating and as usual he was checking out the Malaysian ‘junk-in-trunk’ and he said, ‘Malaysians do have nice butt don’t they! Regardless of their body shape, they have this nice round butt and most of them have nice body shape like that girl, there, there, (and he started pointing to some girls until..) and you yourself!
I know I know, I might not have the best body ever but it feels nice to have your loved one actually saying something sweet bout you.
So my point here is that, just be happy with who you are, how you are cos at the end of the day, the heart is all that matters (trust me, my bf never go for their own kind no matter how gorgeous they are cos he said all the girls have this bad attitude problem that and every time he thinks about it, it just turns him off, as in not interested in them) and beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

The Arash Concert!

I know some might be wondering who that is?!?! Well, I didn’t know who it was at 1st till recently when my bf’s band was busy practicing for his concert opening here in KL. And after listening to some of his songs, I realized that I’ve heard some of the songs before and I know them, just that I never get to know who the singer was.
Anyway, Arash is this Iranian famous RnB singer and frankly, some of his songs are not bad actually. They’re quite addictive.

He has this song called ‘Temptation’ which the video clip was recorded in Malaysia, and honestly it doesn’t look like KL at all! Bukit Bintang looks so nice in the clip not to mention Sunway Pyramid! And the quality of the video clip is really good unlike most of the Malaysian video clips which just look…..*sigh*!

Ok let’s get to the part where I went for his concert! Well, it was great! My bf’s band played for the 1st one hour. Then, it was the concert. The best part was that, I get to sit at the VIP place cos I was in the ‘Guest List’ and it was really cool! Considering the fact that I didn’t have to pay for a single cent! *wink wink*

Last night was so far the best night of performance of my bf’s band! It was really fun and everyone enjoyed it! See, my bf’s band performs in 2 clubs (sometimes 3) a week and of all these clubs, I really love it when they’re performing in Hops & Grapes in Cyberjaya! I love the place, I love the people, I love the bar owner and I just love the crowd who went there!
Although cyberjaya is quite far from the city centre and the bar just seems kinda evergreen with working adults and some middle age customers but one thing I love about them is that they go to the bar for the love of MUSIC! They are there to enjoy the music instead of just come and drink and get fucking drunk!
And that brings the reason why I hate Envy Club in Mont Kiara and as well as Library in D’ Curve! The crowds are lifeless! They don’t respond at all! All they care about is just to get drunk and get those club PR’s to entertain them and when the band don’t play their song requests, they’ll start to complaint!
No offence (especially to all Chinese out there and as well as my Chinese friends), but I never like a club or a bar which mainly has 90% Chinese crowd cos :
1. They never seem to pay attention at the band playing (if you know that you’re going to a live band club or bar, why not give sometimes to enjoy them play or at least give some responds rather than just sit there and start to talk business and start complaining that the band is too loud!)
2. They just don’t appreciate Music! Honestly I’ve met bunch and thousands of Chinese who doesn’t even know the song Black Magic Woman! Come on! This is like the legend! It was the best song ever in its era! And they’ll start coming to me and ask, “What song is this?” Gosh!
3. Ok, it’s fair if you don’t like live band and it’s understood if you wanna go to the club to have fun, drink and enjoy dancing (cos even me if I’m in the mood to club and dance I rather go to a place where the DJ’s playing not a live band cos live band do tend to get sucky sometimes…) but if you know that you’re gonna do that, why go to the Live band club in the 1st place and start complaining again after that or just sit at the corner?
Ok enough on that, I’ll get a lot of burning complaints after this.
Anyway, last night was really really awesome! Everyone got so crazy and started to dance to Sweet Child of Mine! And the new female singer was awesome! She’s got great charisma, good voice and the crowds like her!
The best part was that I made few new friends, and at the end of the song, there’s this cute French guy who I always observe all the time cos he has this nice shoulder length hair, asked me to dance with him! Lol! And my bf was there! But it’s ok, cos my bf knows that I have a thing for guys with long hair! *wink wink*

I'm GLAD...pheww!!! Finally!!!

For the past 1 week, I had been really mad and depressed! I fought with my bf almost all the time and it was really annoying!!! I hate it! I used to hear these Iranian guys complaining bout their girls but I never really care about it cos I was just thinking that they were just trying to get the non-iranian girls attention and I was thinking “oohh it couldn’t be that bad!’’
Till for the past one week I stayed with them, (since they were here and staying in our place for the Arash concert) OMFG!!! THEY WERE SUCH PEST! I HATE THEM! They’re ok, look nice, friendly and stuff but they’re eating you from inside! They’re like snake! Or maybe parasite! Look I’m not trying to offend anyone but this is just few of the experience that I wanna share and I’m not saying all of them are like that but maybe most of them!
They’re just :
1. disgustingly dirty,
2. messy,
3. They just don’t respect their host!
4. They use my things without my permission and finish every single thing!

For the 1st point, when they came here they had such a huge luggage that if anyone sees it, they will think that they’re gonna stay here for good! Each one of them brings like 10 heels and like 10 different handbags with different colours and design just to suit their awful colourful outfit when they’re going out! BUT they never brought a single TOWEL!!!!!!!!!!!!! And ended up using MY towel!!! I dunno bout everyone else, but I would never wanna share my towel with anyone else especially when it’s not washed!!!
2nd point, they are just so messy! The minute they arrive, our bedroom looked like a shitty place with everything being thrown here and there (and everything means shoes, make up, clothes, towel, bags….blablabla!!!). Whenever they’re getting ready to go out, after they’re done they just leave everything where they were supposedly got ready! Fake nails, earrings, lipstick, make ups on the bed! Gosh!
3rd point, imagine if you’re the owner of the house and your guests who’s putting up with you for few days, went out clubbing and came back like 4 or 5 in the morning and started talking loudly, shouting and laughed loudly…how would you feel?!?!?!? *that explains enough of my 3rd situation!*
Last but not least, they used my expensive hair conditioner that I just bought the very day they arrive and it had not been 5 days and my conditioner bottle was going to be empty!!!
I just hate these girls a lot! And I’m so glad that they left! Cos if they don’t I’m gonna throw themselves out myself!

After such a long time (probably one year I guess) I finally did some shopping again! I think the Malaysia Grand Sales is back coz every store is doing such crazy discounts on every item! Ohh it feels so nice to shop! It’s weird that since ages I’ve wanted to get myself a black cardigan and I just managed to get it last night. I had few choices in mind between few of MNG’s or ZARA but finally I got the MNG one even though it was slightly more expensive than the ZARA coz the ZARA’s one didn’t have a nice cutting!

Then I bought this slipper which I’ve also been wanting to get for such a long time (but I just couldn’t find a nice one!). It looks something like wedges but it’s a slipper. So I got it straight away the minute I saw it! Actually I was planning to get a pair of new formal black shoes but then I changed my mind just after I saw the slipper! Lol! After that, I got this 2 spaghetti straps from MNG and a store called Chelo… really worth it!

I seriously can’t tolerate this habit!

I bet everyone had came across this situation before, either with people around you or with some other people you completely don’t know (probably 1st time talking to) where you’re busy talking to someone maybe about something important or interesting and SUDDENLY other person come and just jump into the conversation and interrupt!
Let me just give an example to this; let’s just say you’re in a group of friends and it happens that you’re talking to one friend about something very important and suddenly a friend sitting next to you who is not in the conversation suddenly interrupt and ask the person you’re talking to about something which is NOT so important! How does that feel?
I swear to the bottom of my heart, I HATE THIS!!! To whoever out there who loves to interrupt when other people are busy talking or just jump into the conversation without knowing what the hell the people are talking about….just one advice JUST STOP THAT BLOODY ANNOYING HABIT COZ IT’S ANNOYING AND RUDE!!!! And to whomever that was being interrupted, if you’re in a conversation with someone else and someone else suddenly come and talk to you, please asked that rude person to wait till you’re done talking with the person you’re talking to or just ignore them! That’s what I USUALLY DO when someone interrupts me and another person talking, I’ll just ignore him/her till he/she gets the signal that I’m annoyed by what he’s/she’s doing and he/she will stop and wait!
And since I’ve been around with the Iranians these days, I noticed this a lot with the Iranians!!! (NO OFFENCE BUT IT JUST GETS ANNOYING EVERYTIME WHEN IT HAPPENS!) One minute I’m talking to a friend about something and suddenly another friend just came and suddenly just asked something which is not related to the conversation, for example, ‘HEY WHERE IS THE CONCERT?’ WTF?!?! And then the two will start talking and then when that friend comes back and wants to continue our previous conversation, it just doesn’t get that interesting anymore!
And earlier today at the café by the swimming pool before heading back to the house, me and my bf was talking about his friend who stole my dresses and was discussing about what to do with him (it was a pretty important conversation!) when suddenly one of his friend who was sitting opposite of me suddenly asked my bf something in Persian which I have no idea what the hell it was but I bet it was not important! And my bf started talking to him and when he got back to me, I just forgot about what we were talking about earlier, probably I was too mad about the interruption that I forget about what we talked earlier.
Another annoying situation would be when a group of people are talking and everyone is like competing with each other when they’re talking as if it’s a race of who can say more things or who can finish what they wanna say the fastest! It’s like everyone wants to talk and not giving any chance to everyone else to talk! Like seriously, if everyone is talking who's gonna listen?!?!?!? That happened once when my bf and I and his housemates were having dinner and it happened that I was talking and then 1 of his housemate just cut me and started talking about some shit! Was really mad coz of that I just stopped talking till they realized that. Then, I just ‘bombed’ them and told them they were really rude! Coz seriously it’s damn annoying! But still, they don’t changed! Still keep up with the rude habit!

Mirror Mirror!

Almost every girl owns at least one mirror but did you know that there are a lot more to mirrors than just being simple looking-glasses? I was reading an article on mirror the other day and I find it really interesting that I wanted to share it here!

There are a lot of superstitious and beliefs associated with mirrors, most of which started in this dim and distant past, when it was believed that a mirror actually reflected the soul of the person looking into it. As vampires (and some witches) were believed to have no souls, they could be identified by making them look into the mirror! How spooky is that….???

One mirror superstition which has been around for ages is the belief that when breaking a mirror, it will bring seven years of bad luck. This probably stemmed from the times when mirror was an expensive item. Breaking it would, therefore, be considered a great loss, especially in the case of a servant who broke a mirror belonging to her employer. The cost of replacement would probably be taken from the girl’s wages. If you are unlucky enough to smash a mirror, however don’t despair coz you can lessen the ‘curse’ by carefully wrapping the broken pieces in fabric (preferably red) and burying them in the ground. According to legend, this will reduce the seven years to seven days.

Other mirror superstitions say that a bride should never look at herself in a mirror once she’s fully dressed, as to do so will bring bad luck. Before taking a final look at herself, she should lay down her bouquet or remove a glove or something. If she does look, however, the bad luck can be cancelled by adding something simple, like a hair pin or a piece of jewellery.

Another old wives’ tale states that it is unlucky for a girl to look at her reflection for too long, especially after midnight. This was probably invented to stop young girls from becoming too vain. Likewise, telling girls that they would never marry if they looked at themselves in a mirror by candlelight, would definitely discourage vanity.

There are some romantic superstitions associated with mirrors too! It is said that a girl can tell how many years it will be until she marries by standing on a stone with her back to the full moon and a mirror in her hand. If she holds up the mirror she should see the reflection of the moon surrounded by lots of ‘mini-moons’. Each ‘mini-moon’ counts as a year until she marries (although it sounds more like a damaged mirror to me…)! Also, if you really fancy a boy you should be careful not to look into the mirror at the same time as him, coz that means you’ll never go out together. Well, some people believe it.

Whether or not you believe all these old mirror stories, there can be no denying that mirrors are very useful. Not only do they show us how we look, but they can also be used as decorations. A large mirror hung on a wall can make a small room look bigger or, if a light is placed in front of a mirror, it can make a darker room seem brighter.

Mirrors come in all shapes and sizes and it can be interesting to look around junk shops and jumble sales for old mirrors. Broken or damaged frames can be repainted or decorated with beads or shells. It’s fun to do, and the end result will be original and cool! Just be careful not to break the glass, because you never know…..

The right vitamins for you!

Before this, i never really bother about this till yesterday when i was at The Mall for lunch and i entered a pharmacy since they've got sale on some vitamins and supplements. While I was talking to the pharmacist about some vitamins she gave me a free scan where they scan your fingernail and from there they'll know what kinda supplements or vitamins you're lacking of.

As for me, i need to take more Selenium for anti-oksidant and calcium since i'm lacking of these two.

So, starting from next month, I'll make the effort to spend some on food supplements and vitamins cos it's very important especially nowadays when life evolves with facing the laptop, TV, college, work and there's no time to actually take care of ourselves. So, at least with the aid of vitamins and food supplements will keep you maintain a good health.

Of course, balanced- diet also play an important role in order to get the right amount of vitamin and supplement needed for the body.

Batu Caves

BATU CAVES

Hmmm…before I talk about Batu Caves, let me just explain something about my bf. This guy has this funny thing (I don’t know how should I say but it’s kinda weird and funny...in a cute way though) or tendency that whenever I asked him to bring me out or ‘LET’S GO OUT?!’. He’ll bring me to weird places…more like tourists attraction places like the Zoo, Bird Park (not yet but I’m guessing coming soon since he talks about it a lot), Batu Caves, Genting Highland and so on…

Coz usually (I bet this goes the same to everyone) when we said ‘LET’S GO OUT!’ it just simply means a day out at the mall for lunch or movie just hanging out and stuffs, not much of an extravaganza event or something!
The 1st time I asked him to bring me out, he brought me to the ZOO!!! So, there I was with him and his friends hanging out at the zoo watching all the animals which was kinda cool actually since my 20 years of living here in Malaysia, I never even stepped into our own national zoo! And on the 19th July was my 1st time stepping into the zoo and actually see how it was!
Anyways, back to the main point, so last weekend since we haven’t been out for quite sometimes, I asked him to go hang out!

By starting with a simple question,

Me : Let’s go out?!?!
Him : Where do you wanna go?
Me : I dunno, anywhere lah… I just wanna get out of the house for awhile, go somewhere and chill.
Him : (Excited) Let’s go to Batu Caves!
Me : Alright then (reluctantly)

Lol! So, we went to Batu Caves! It didn’t start well coz it was raining heavily and while waiting for the rain to stop, we took our lunch and just chilled at the mall near his place.

We just got there...

While at Batu Caves, we just walked around sightseeing and walked up the 200++ stairs!!! Gosh it was tiring, really! It turns out to be ok actually (if not coz of the headache I had coz of the rain earlier) we just went from one temple to another temple and at one point, the priest gave us the red patch (I think it's called Kum Kum) on our foreheads! The guys took some pictures with the snakes which later that night gave me nightmares (snakes everywhere and I couldn’t escape)! I never liked snakes!

While the guys were busy with the picture taking with the snakes, I was just walking around in the temple and an Indian girl maybe around 2 or 3 years of age went to me and started clinging on me even when her daddy wanted to take her home, she just started hugging me and asked me to carry her! Lol! She’s so cute!

Towards the end of the trip, we went to the souvenir shop. I didn’t plan to get anything though since I didn’t have any cash with me but then my bf bought me this really nice, tribal, vintage looking necklace! It’s sooo my taste!!! Really beautiful! After they’ve done buying everything, then we realized, we had no money to get a cab to go home… but then, we still made it home though…Lol!

Even though most time I’ll be writing about how unfair the world or the society towards the women but sometimes, I don’t blame the guys for doing so actually, when I said that, I meant when they just used girls for sex or talked about certain girls or just dumped her after one night stand! I know it’s weird and mean but some girls just deserve to be treated that way!

The reason I’m saying this is that, I’ve seen and known two girls (Girl A & Girl B) maybe about few months ago. At 1st glance meeting them, they looked really sweet and nice. Never that it even crossed my mind or I even thought that they are that kinda ‘girl’ (let me just tell the whole story 1st).
One day, after few weeks meeting girl A, we started hanging out and just have fun like having girl’s night out and movies. That time, I still didn’t notice anything bad about her or anything. But till one day, when she asked me if I wanna hang out with her to the mall and watch movie. The story continues when after that we went to my bf’s place (that time he was not my bf yet) to chill coz they were having dinner and he invited us over. And since it was late, so we decided to stay there for the night. And while we were there, girl A started flirting with one of the guy (Mr. O) there (my bf’s housemate which is also my friend) and it disturbed me coz she has a bf and I know she’s not serious about it and the fact that the guy she’s flirting with is my friend..(a very good friend actually) but I just ignored it thinking that maybe my friend (Mr. O) would understand that she’s just flirting and don’t take it seriously too coz he knew that she has a bf. But it started to go out of control, Mr. O started to have feelings for her and even willing to be her 2nd bf. Maybe coz of that, she started using the guy, like asking money from him, used their place like a hotel. Whenever she went out to meet her bf, and if it’s too late and she can’t go back to her hostel coz of the curfew, she’ll go back to Mr. O’s place (which is also my bf’s plc!) and these kinda things.
Till one time, when we were out to see my bf’s band performed, she was flirting with the other guy (the guitarist of the band) in front of Mr. O.
I realized that, and even though Girl A is my friend but Mr. O is also my friend, and what Girl A is doing is seriously unacceptable. So I went to talk to Mr. O and told him to ‘pull it out of the girl’, just forget about her and ignore her! Well, for his own sake, he listened to what I said! And since then, Mr. O ignores Girl A but Girl A keeps calling him and at one point, when she can’t get through Mr. O, she went to the guitarist place. Since then, the guys started to talk about her and believes me, if any guy would say those things about me, I seriously don’t even know where to put my face anymore! Probably I’ll dig a hole and bury myself alive coz of shame!

One thing I don’t understand is that, of all those things she has done, she still has the guts to call Mr. O at 5 in the morning to ask if she can come over to their place! And also, all the while she’s been worrying if her bf would cheat on her with other girls. That’s when my bf actually said something offensive to her like (which I totally agree with), ‘If you’re scared about your bf cheating on you, then what are you doing flirting around with other guys and spending nights at their place?’

Well, that’s something about Girl A. Now, it’s about Girl B.

With Girl B it’s a bit different, she doesn’t really flirt around even when the fact that she actually has 2 BFs (used to be 4 before). Anyways, she’s not the kinda girl who goes around to guys’ house and asking money or flirt around but she’s the type who likes to take advantages over other people’s kindness especially the guys! I used to bring her with me whenever I’m out with my friends before and I don’t mind actually but what I hate the most about her is that, she just loves taking advantages! If she knows my friends would be paying for lunch or dinner, she’ll order the most expensive meal she can find in the menu! Or start ordering a lot of things till in the end, she herself might not be able to finish ‘em!
That’s the 1st thing; the second thing is that, she has a bad tendency or habit of stealing. She tends to steal something she might like or need! I don’t get it! Some people, they don’t seem to have brain to think! It’s like parasite! You’re stealing from the person or the people who has done some good deed for you! How could they do that?!?! At one point, I kinda ignored that bad habit of hers, but it got worse! I caught her red handed stealing my bikini (and some other things) and my bf’s necklace and a very expensive Zippo lighter!
Starting from that moment, I never want to bring her with me anymore, even if I feel sorry that she has to be alone over the weekend but I couldn’t bear bringing a thief with me to hang out with my friends! God knows what else she would steal! And I’ll be blame for it!
Please take note that I’m not here to judge anyone nor I want to gossip coz I know I, myself is not perfect either but I’m just here to remind certain girls that DO NOT act this way coz some of you might think that the guys are stupid but seriously, they’re smart! And certain guys actually know what type of girls they are from their looks and the way the girls carry themselves! Probably that’s why; don’t be surprised if certain guys never take any girls seriously! It’s probably because of these kinda situations!

My day started when i woke up at 7 this morning just so that i can go to college and print my assignment papers that took less than 2 minutes! GOD!!!! And the whole day spoiled cos i was feeling dizzy and kinda headache cos of the early wake up. Then, around 2 i took a nap, and honestly it was sooooooo NICE!!!!!!!! Even though it's hot outside but my room was so cold! i even used my blanket when i slept! I forced myself to wake up after that cos i need to go pee! =( was trying to get back tpo sleep but i cant, so me and my roommate who happen to also just woke up, went downstairs to get some 'pisang goreng' (banana fritters) for our tea-time while watching Amityville Horror! i was too into the movie that i dint realised that i was late for my 7pm lecture, so i skipped it... *sigh*

It was ok, but i kinda doubt whether it is actually based on a true story cos it looks too perfect for a real story!

Taxi fares has rise up!!! sigh

GOSH! Taxi fares has rise up and seriously it does give me a big impact!!!! You see, i travel to my bf's plc most time and usually it will cost me around RM7-RM8 or RM10 the most and that's if i use the 'calling service' but recently since the taxi fares has rise up and now it's really expensive and i dont know how this new meter taxi works! seriously!!!

Cos before this, when you entered a taxi, the meter started from RM2, but now it's RM3...ok fair enough maybe RM2 is too low and petrol price is also increasing nowawdays but then i noticed that the meter is changing too fast! like earlier today when i was coming back from my bf's place, it cost me RM14.40!!!!!!!!! Seriously, if it starts at RM3, understood probably it'll cost me around RM 9- RM10 or RM12 the most BUT RM14???? that's too much!

Annoying Situation!

Hmmm...just wondering here...

Have anyone of you girls out there ever encounter this situation? you're out with your bf and maybe some of his friends (let's say at a restaurant or starbucks) and a minute another girls step into the place, everyone just stop doing whatever they're doing and just started staring at the girls and make 'ehem ehem' sound or start saying 'wow wow she's hot!!!" and you, the gf is just there acting as if it's ok when it's actually NOT! what will you guys basically do in this kinda situation?
well understood even at the 1st plc they just meant it as a joke or not something serious but somehow you do feel kinda annoyed.

1st, cos ur the gf and he actually does that in front of you and it seems like he just doesnt even seem to bother how you as the gf would feel!!

Well before I move further into what I am about to share, let me just explain what ‘rebound relationship’ actually means. It basically means a relationship that occurs shortly after the break-up of a significant love relationship.

At this moment, I just don’t care anymore coz I think I need some advice and help! I’m not shy nor am I proud to say that I think i've involved myself in a 'rebound relationship'. And now I just kinda have some problem! Well, I broke up with my ex bf (of a year and a half) around few months ago (3 months to be exact) but even before that we actually did break up in December ‘08. We have had problem since quite sometimes ago and have been on and off since then but we were still trying to patch things up and none of us really met someone new till recently (about a month ago) I met this new guy who is now my bf. And to be exact, it’s been a month that we’ve been together. With this new guy, I’ve got to admit that I’m really happy. He treats me well and really takes care of me. If I would compare from A to Z, he’s perfect with a capital P! He’s like every girl’s dream of a bf! From his look, his attitude, the way he treats his gf (that’s me!), there’s nothing else you would want to ask!

Everytime i look at my bf, he reminds me of this Zachary Quinto.

But then WHY do I still keep remembering my ex and still misses him so much??? I still keep dreaming about him and wished those good old days will be back again! But then there’s more pain than happiness in the relationship. I guess chemistry does play a big part in a relationship!
Well I know if I’m back with my ex, I will really miss my current bf now but even now I feel like I’m stuck in the middle! I can’t fully love my current bf yet coz some parts of me still misses the old one!

Hmmm...I know I've been away for quite sometimes and never updated my blog since..my apology to those who's been asking me to update my blog...especially to Rayan who's been complaining and asking me to update this blog cos it's the only way he can communicate with me at the moment... lol! So, here it goes...

I’m seeing all these gothic trend kinda wedding these days and I just wonder, shouldn’t marriage suppose to be something pure sacred and holy? Why wear BLACK? Call me old fashioned but I’d still prefer white for my wedding day and I don’t think I would go for any gothic theme kinda wedding! I find it very insulting! Ok even IF you have to have black colour on the wedding dress, why not go for something that’s suppler that wouldn’t look so ‘Ooh she must be kidding to be wearing that on her wedding day!’

And IF you to wear black so badly, why not wear it during the wedding photos shoot for the wedding album? That wouldn’t look so bad! Coz some black dress doesn’t look that bad…ON A WEDDING PHOTO!

Coz every fashion and trend has a limited period of time and choosing something simple and traditional would be a very wise choice coz it’ll stay that way all the time and won’t really go out of fashion. Well, bottom point is that, everyone has their own favorite spot or place that they can’t resist but to enter whenever they’re at a mall or some shopping podium.

As for me, I love the pharmacies so much!

Yes, it’s weird but I love entering a pharmacy! I can spend hours in a pharmacy without getting anything or sometimes I might ended up with some ridiculous stuffs that I just saw in the pharmacy! Coz I know if I don’t get them, I’ll regret it later or I’ll keep dreaming about the stuffs and what it can do for me. *Sigh* I know it’s weird but I find pharmacy gives me this certain feeling of wanting to look good and to look after myself and be healthy.

There were few times when I entered a pharmacy and I guessed I spend too much time in it that the sales assistants were kinda suspicious that they kept following me everywhere I went! In the end, they’ll ask me what I was looking for and if I said I’m just looking around, they’ll start recommend me to try some products or health products and that’s when I started to make a move or if they’re lucky I might ended up buying the product! Lol!

When I said pharmacy, I don’t mean the typical type of pharmacy like the ones full with drugs and first aid stuffs! I mean those like Watson, Guardian and Apex. The ones that complete with care products from head to toe! Oohh I honestly can’t resist that kinda pharmacies! There was once when I was in a pharmacy for nearly 2 hours and I didn’t even realized the time flew till I was out of the pharmacy!

Once, my roommate and I went to send our laundry and was going to go out after that, but suddenly it rain so heavy that we can’t even move from 1 spot to another spot! And the place where we were stuck was so dead boring but thank god they have a mini Watson! Oohh lalala! I just went inside and check out the stuffs and I ended up wanting to buy shampoo, black pores remover, vitamin C and new body gel coz they had discounts! Then, when I was about to make payment, that’s when my roommate told me not to get those stuffs and reminded me that we’re going somewhere else! Coz it’ll get troublesome carrying the stuffs later on.

If there are 2 stores in front of me, a super attractive discount drop on ZARA boutique and the other one is a pharmacy, I might enter ZARA 1st and just check around then the rest of the other time I’ll be in the pharmacy! Lol! I check out ZARA 1st coz I know I might need more time in the pharmacy!

I bet everyone is used to this kinda situation that I’m about to share. Ever been through a situation where it’s ok for guys to sleep with a girl on a 1st date and it’s not OK for girls to sleep with a guy on a 1st date coz it sends out a message saying ‘I’m cheap and easy?’

I have this close friend of mine who met this guy through a friend of hers. Well, they had fun, there were sparkles, and they shared a lot of experience and talk about this and that. Both just seem so into each other and had so much in common! Even though it was only the 1st meeting, they seem to be very comfortable with each other. So, later that night, things sort of got out of control and she gave herself to the guy. As bad as it sounds but sometimes things do get out of control and steamy! The next day, the guy was still very nice, just treated her very sweet and didn’t seem to be judging her for her last night action till after few days. He was sort of avoiding her and just kept giving excuses whenever she wanted to meet up. Poor little friend of mine she was really sad and disappointed with this guy. She thought he would be different coz seriously, he did look different and really caring but oh well looks can be deceiving! That’s why don’t ever judge a book by its cover.

The next thing she knew, her friend told her that she shouldn’t have given herself to that guy the 1st time they met coz it shows that she’s easy! Her friend told her to be wiser next time and act like a lady! When my friend told me this, I was so mad! I mean, YES she was wrong to sleep with him the 1st time she met him but come on!!! Why do people tend to judge us ladies whenever we do something that, if a man does it, it’ll be totally ok! But when a woman did the same thing, everyone would say she’s easy?!?!?! And everyone will just keep judging them!

I hate it when the world starting to put a blame on the women when these kind of things happen! It’s like blaming Eve for the sins and troubles we’re having now coz she took the forbidden fruit in the garden and gave it to her husband, Adam! Imagine if it was Adam who was in Eve’s place being tempted to eat the forbidden fruit? I bet he would do the same! It all started from there, and till now, everyone has this shallow mentality that a woman is suppose to be doing this and that and not suppose to do this and that! Gosh! It’s really annoying!

The pharmacist thought I was stressed!

Last Friday, I was out with my new roommate and some of her friends to KLCC. So, while we were there, I went to the pharmacy (well, pharmacy happens to be my fav spot!) just to check out on some vitamins and supplements. As I was doing so, I asked the pharmacist some questions regarding the suitable vitamins for skin and women! At some point, I asked her something about supplements that are good for people who work out! Well, I didn’t intend to buy them that time, I was just asking out of curiosity.

The next thing I know, she recommended me to get this anti-stress supplement and vitamin B so that I can cope with stress! I was like WTF?!?!?!? Come on! I’m not stress out! I was just wondering! At 1st when she said ‘You can’t just be a beauty in one night dear!’, I was ok with it but when she recommended me the anti-stress supplements, THAT’S IT! It really got onto my nerves! So, I just told her ‘It’s ok, I’ll go to other pharmacy and ask!’ and I just walked off…

Sometimes people can be very confusing…*sigh*

Chuan Chiang and i look as if we're holding hands...lol!

I was in D' Curve earlier today and i had so much fun! Recently i've been addicted to DDR game. For those who don't know whats DDR, it's 'DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION'...it's the dancing game machine...*that's how i call it..hehehe!! well,i know this game has been out for quite sometime already but i never intend to try it out till i saw my roommate played it! omg!!! it's sooo FUN!!!! and that's how i get addicted to it!

I know i used to think it looks lame too but try it! it's addictive!!!

i was too excited...lol! that's the one i want to get to put in my room...=P

So, today as we were walking around D' Curve, i saw this booth having the game and with the dancing mat..at 1st i thought it was PS2 or something but later he told me it's PC game!!! ohh god!! i was soo excited about it that i wanted to get it!! but not now though..i'm currently on a tight budget. I know i said i wanna take sometime off but i've gotta post this one! Well i happened to be in Pavilion last night with some friends and i came across this really sexy and beautiful looking formal suit that i've been trying to look for since ages! and i tried it on and it fits perfectly but the problem is that i'm kinda broke right now. well i do have some savings but i'm not so sure if it's gonna be worth buying the suit! BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! *sigh*

My friend did offer to pay the suit for me though but then i don't find it nice cos i just thought if i want to get it, i would really wanna get it with my own money...

But then looking on the bright side, i might need it in few weeks time cos i'm gonna be having my legal studies presentation which will need me to look formal and smart. lol!

I do have a couple of pics me trying the suit, but it's not so clear and kinda reddish but i guess you guys can guess how it looks like on me...so plsss help me to decide k!

Pavilion is not that bad after all cos i pictured it to be those high class stores where you cant enter if you dont have at least few thousands in your pocket and sales assistants who'll stare at you with a *dont bother entering cos i bet you cant even afford any of the things in this store* look! but then we went through the whole place last night and it's nice and i like the structure and the designs of the mall.

Making the right choice!

After being in college for almost 1 and a half year, I realized that a lot of the students take certain course which is not suitable for them, not something they like, they did it coz their parents made them take it. So, in short word ‘wrong choice’! Well, it’s ok to make a mistake, who doesn’t? Even I made mistakes in the 1st place when choosing what course I wanted to take. Before doing the course I’m currently doing now, I used to do accounting for 1 semester. Realizing that I couldn’t catch up with those entire debit credit things, those income statements and that demand surplus and whatever they are, I decided to switch course!

Well, sometimes I hate to say it but parents DO know what’s best for their kids sometime. In the beginning I wanted to do ‘Fashion Marketing and Management’ coz I wanted to be a fashion buyer.

What i wanted to be at 1st, Fashion Buyer

The place I intended to do my Fashion Marketing and Management course.

I sorta picture those ‘Ugly Betty’ and the ‘Devil’s wears Prada’ kinda life. But when I told my dad that, he answered me sarcastically saying that he never heard of such course! And that’s how I ended up having 6 months holiday and 6 months working as a kindergarten teacher. In that 1 year I was thinking of what i want to be and still I had NO clue!

What I did for 6 months...

As I didn’t want to procrastinate more time (since I’ve taken a year to decide before I started college) so I went to try for accounting in January 2008. Quantity surveying was actually my 1st choice (dad’s choice actually) but the college didn’t offer that course for the January intake. And that’s how accounting was the other choice. Thinking about it again, I’m glad I actually did accounting for one semester. At least I would have known how lucky I am now that I’m doing QS. I can say it’s 100 times easier than accounts! Well of course you would’ve need a lot of reading and understanding and memorizing facts but I guess that’s fine for me. Memorizing facts is actually one of my special gifts.
My point is, if anyone would want to choose any major or course that will determine their future, they should really take it seriously and decide something you enjoy doing and capable of doing! You don’t choose something coz ‘Ooohh it’ll bring good money’’ ‘’oohhh my dad wants me to do this!’,‘oohhh everyone else is doing this, so am I!’
But of coz we don’t forget to take parents’ choice into consideration too, unless if you really think you can’t, then it’s ok. Like in my case, since I didn’t get to do ‘Fashion Management and Marketing’ so I did accounting coz that’s the nearest to what I want and what my dad would be ok with. I thought account was going to be ok, I expect it to be tough but not as tough till i actually did it =(...! So that’s when I decide, that’s it! I’m switching course to QS! At 1st I was kinda scared to do QS but then it gets ok. I don’t have much trouble. I do have but somehow I manage to solve ‘em.
But what really disappoint me is that, I find most students who are taking the same course as me in college, (no offence) are NOT supposed to be in that course! Like seriously! It’s not just QS but this rule applies to every course, if you’ve been failing and repeating the same subject for more than once, just consider changing to other course! It’s such a waste of time and money if you keep failing! It’s a waste of your time and it’s a waste of your parents’ money! I know few repeat students who are repeating the same subject in my class and sometimes it’s really annoying to see them in the class coz they’re just not suppose to be in there! It’s not that I’m being discriminative or I look down on them but somehow they’re just wasting their time! They don’t seem to be putting much interest and effort in their studies! They don’t show up for class! They never really participate in completing the assignment! So, why waste parents’ money paying the fees?
My advice is, don’t be scared to explore something new and get out of your comfort zone! If you used to be a commerce students but you’re weak in it, why not try something else? You'll never know?!?! You might like it!

I had no clue what’s Quantity Surveying is gonna be like (and I knew accounting) but after done both I’m SO glad I tried accounting and switch from accounting to QS! Coz when I think back. I never want to be an accountant who sits in the office for 8 hours 5 days a week!

NO WAY!

I rather be a QS who goes under the sun and get sunburn and move around! And now I’m in my 2nd year, everything is getting more challenging and I’m hoping for the best! And to everyone else who’s still searching, Just make the right choice before it’s too late!

Don't we just love 'The Nanny'...!?!?

It’s one of my fav sitcom and I find Fran Drescher looks stunning in every episode even though her outfit may look kinda tacky but I think she looks gorgeous! =). With her super big hair and those catchy and bright looking designs on her super skimpy outfit! Lol! Oh I almost have forgotten that weird voice of hers! I especially like it when she laughs! It’s so funny!

I used to watch this sitcom back when I was around 7 but still keep watching till now coz it’s aired on Hallmark. They show 2 episodes everyday. It’s really funny to watch it over and over again!

I love this episode (here) when she goes on the 1st date with Mr Sheffield. Really funny! Especially from min 7.28 onwards and i simply adore her dress in there, she looks beautiful in it.

Growing up, I remembered watching a lot of Spanish soap operas, ‘telenovela’ as they said. It was really fun and it all started with ‘Maria Mercedes’. I was never really into all this series at 1st but seeing my mom, my aunties and grandma sitting in front of the tv sharp at 5.30 pm everyday made me sorta watch it. Lol! Later, it got fun coz I can still remember everyone was so anxious and excited for the next day to see what happen in another episode! Lol! Sometimes when we’ve got plan and if it clashed with the airing time, the women will rescheduled the plans!

Few weeks ago when I was youtube-ing, I sort of search for ‘Maria Mercedes’ and I was so surprised that I found ‘Maria Mercedes’ song was also sung in Arabic! And it sounded so alike as the original one! =) I never expected that it had been aired in more than 40 countries!

Then, came ‘La Usurpadora’ replacing ‘Maria Mercedes’. The show's premise revolves around a pair of twin sisters who were separated when they were young, and as adults the younger sister is forced to act as a "replacement" for her wealthier elder sister who wants to leave her family for selfish reasons. Well this was really addicting! I was 11 when the telenovela was aired and I remembered even talking about it in school with my friends and teachers! Lol!

After ‘La Usurpadora’ another spanish telenovela was aired called, ‘Mis Tres Hermanas’. Well this one wasn’t that nice, maybe coz I didn’t really watch it from the beginning. And the list goes on…

There were really a lot of telenovelas shown after that, like ‘Yo soy Betty La Fea’ (Ugly Betty), ‘Rosalinda’, ‘Juana’s Miracle’ and so many others!

I have to admit i hate it but i can't help it! i have these weird sleeping pattern where i'll start to become really really sleepy around 10 pm and at 1st i thought it's a good thing...cos there's a saying said, 'early to bed, early to rise...makes you healthy, happy and wise...' (something like that...cant really remember though*) i was thinking it's a good start for me to sleep early and get up early and make it an habit. but i was wrong, around 2 hours later, i'll start waking up and i can't go back to sleep! and it happens EVERY NIGHT now! i hate it! it's like, i sleep around 10 pm and wakes up around 12.30 am and just sitting in front of the comp or watch some movies till 4 or 5 am then go back to sleep! and i ended up waking up at 2.40 pm everyday! well not exactly 2.40 but somewhere that time...2.44, 2.42.. *sigh* just when i thought i was going to train myself to sleep and wake up early...

After sending my siblings to tuition this evening, I went to the new Bing Coffee in 101 Premier…the new happening place. I never knew about that place before and honestly, I kinda like that place! It looks nice and happening and I like the atmosphere in Bing. It’s so tribal-ish with the orangey lightings, brown furniture with black, orange and maroon wall! So nice!

I was glad that i found all these pics on Bing from http://eatingoutkuching.com/bing-coffee-premier-101/ cos i was kinda sad that i didn't get to take pics!!! (even the ones we took were very blur...)

Well, I never planned to go there but Emmanuel suggested it, so I said, ‘why not?’ So we went there, and there I was complaining about my problems to him… ‘What to do? How should I handle this! That! Bla bla!!!’ (He’s a good listener, that’s why I usually turned to him when no one else would listen…) while we were chit chatting I didn’t expect to see Jane (my close girl friend) there too!!!!!! I haven’t seen her in ages! The last time I met her was somewhere last year…*sigh* so we were catching up with each other when I noticed 3 cute looking middle east guys passing us…lol! One of them has long curly hair like mine! So cute! (I always have this thing with guys who has long curly hair) lol!

So there it was, my nice and unexpected evening at the Bing!

it's 4.48 am and i cant sleep! well i slept around 10.30pm just now but somehow around 1.20am i was kinda awake...not really awake yet till someone called me at 1.22 am!!! i tried going back to sleep again but i couldn't so i just got up and found my mom was also still awake..and we watched this movie called 'The Bachelor'...kinda funny! lol! after d movie i continued watching 'House' and now i'm just awake and online...so bored! that's why sometimes i hate it when i sleep early and i'll wake in the middle of the night like this!

These two days have NOT been pleasant days for us, 1 family! it started with the car broke down yesterday at d mall! thank god it was at a mall..at least we can still walk around while waiting for my dad to fetch us and the mechanic to come and get the car to the workshop...to make things worse, we were late for the family dinner at the thai restaurant which reservation booked by my dad supposed to be at 7...we were there around 7.40 pm...*sigh* we didn't even get to be 'pwettypweetywow', i didn't even get to wear the dress i was planning to wear... =( went straight from the mall... =(

then just now just after we came back from my grandparent's house, my mom was about to do the laundry when she found out that the washing machine had stopped working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! arghhh!!!!!!!!!!!! that means i have to do my own laundry these few days before getting a new washing machine!!! adoi... hope my dad and my mom go check out new washing machines tomorrow!! =( *sigh*

I’m lucky enough to even pass this paper… (me and Kim even discussed bout re-sitting this paper..*sigh*) the most frustrating part was…I did study very hard for this paper and I was confident about it since I manage to answer most of the pass year papers!!! I hate how things are with the society everywhere in the world! The title didn’t really tell much but what I’m gonna share this time is about how I hate when guys do a lot of nasty things he’s consider the man and when girls do what the guys did then she’s a whore!

Guys are considered the man if he sleeps around like he changes his shoes or his shirts but when a girl does that, everyone will talk and said she’s a whore! Come on! That’s seriously NOT fair! Just because a guy is a guy, he gets all the credits when he does the cooking and the laundry and when a girl is a mechanic, no one is gonna trust her or even step into her mechanic shop! What is this? Come on! We’re not in the 14th century or those old days when women sit at home babysitting their kids and cook for her husband.

The same way goes to this ‘sleeping around’ issue…I’m just saying guys should be giving the same ‘title’ as the girl! The end of the day, it’s not the girl who wants so much to get into a guy’s pants… sometimes she was trapped into doing so! And there’s no such word as ‘bitch’, ‘slut’ or ‘whore’ for man? How can this be? Are guys/men too innocent that they don’t have this title or label given to them? Well, ok ‘gigolo’… If you ask me, I would say gigolo sounds too polite…it’s like prostitute…

Why did I post this passage from the Bible? The answer is simple, this is what happen to me. I have had so many friends before but I realized that they only want something out of me. I had a best friend for 5 years but she turn against me 1 day without giving any reason or confronted me. After that my friends never stick around me much longer coz I just don’t trust anyone anymore. Once I felt something wrong about them I’ll further myself away from them. It’s never easy making friends like we used to in kindergarten. You can become someone’s best friend in a minute and play Barbie and building houses with the Lego. That time we don’t even know the meaning of taking advantage of our friends, betraying our friends…those are something that’s not even in the dictionary. Sometimes I just hope everyone else would never grow to know the meaning of betraying people and taking advantage so that we would always be happy and no such thing/word as W-A-R even exist!

I was walking alone last two days in KLCC and happen to enter this beauty shop called SASA...the salesgirls were really friendly! in fact so friendly that they tried just about anything so that customers buy products from their store! from perfumes to mascara that makes your eyes pop like a dolly! (at least that's what they said!) well I dont really mind that but she said my eyes looked like an old lady's eyes! at that very moment i was like wtf?!?!?! but then it's true...i do have those kinda eyes which have all doz wrinkle under my eyes coz of my eye bags due to lack of sleep...*sigh* so she recommended me to get this SKINLITE cooling cucumber pads...it helps to reduce puffiness and dark circles. i've only tried it for 2 days now and i hope i'll see results soon!

HeAdwrApS! I just lOvE so much!
I’ve always been so fascinated with the art of head wrapping. I even asked Emmanuel (a Nigerian friend) to get me headwrap all the way from Nigeria when he went back last 2 years! And he got me a brown one, my favorite color! From the material I can say it costs quite expensive. And yeah it is coz he did tell me so. For years I’ve been trying to find the right way to headwrap my hair and always fail to do so! But recently I’ve been google-ing the styles of headwrap and how to do ‘em on youtube and I’m actually quite good in it now! =) and been donning headwrap from time to time when I’m out. Since I’m Asian, people tend to stare at me with my headwrap on but I just couldn’t care less coz people are people! They tend to stare at abnormality. So here are a couple of pics of me in headwrap. Pardon me coz it’s very dark. I was cam-whoring in the car while waiting for a friend to buy me sandwich kebab.

Belly Dance Show!

For someone who loves belly dance, I had attended a belly dance show which was organized by one of the dancing school last month! Well I was kinda excited in the beginning but then was a bit disappointed when I was at the show.

1^st of all, on the ticket says that it starts from 7.30 pm till 10.30 pm but it actually started at 8.30pm because 1 hour earlier was for guests to have refreshment. Then around 8.25pm the emcee came up on the stage and said that they will start a bit later around 8.45pm because the so called DJ was trapped in a jam! Omg! I just couldn’t stand Malaysians! They usually start their event half an hour to 1 hour from the actual time stated!

It was already 7.45pm and it was not even half occupied yet!

Secondly, I was not really satisfied because Ariellah only perform twice! And I thought it was supposed to be her show! (Well understood that it was stated that there are gonna be other performances by other local dancers but I didn’t know that she would only perform twice!!!) *sigh* there goes my money!

Thirdly, I really hate the crowds who went to watch the show! They were provided a place to sit which they chose earlier and yet when it was time for the performers to perform, everyone stood up and it was really annoying since I was sitting slightly behind and I didn’t really get to enjoy the show that much! So what I did? I stood up on the chair coz that’s the only I could watch the show! These people are just not civic minded at all!

But then in the middle of the show I just decided to enjoy the show despite all those disappointment coz I didn’t wanna end up being disappointed all the way! So I just watched the show and enjoyed it! I noticed that the male belly dancer performed the best! He actually can dance better than Ariellah and the other dancers there!

Well at the end of the show I got to take pic with Ariellah and all the performers!!! My classmates were like… *wahh you took pic with her also arh??* hehe!

On my previous post, I was talking about how I love shopping in Bangsar and how I ended up buying the ‘Marilyn Monroe’ summer looking dress from BLOOK.
And since I bought the dress I haven’t got the chance to wear it. Rather, don’t know where to wear it! *sigh* it’ll be easier to don it anytime of the day if I have a CAR here!
Seriously, you don’t wanna get into the LRT or monorail wearing that dress and people just stare at you like you’re some kinda alien from the planet Mars! I get that a lot every time I’m on the train. And I wouldn’t dare to get into the taxi alone in that dress! Seriously I don’t trust KL cab drivers! There was once when I took a cab to KLCC and the taxi driver actually asked me if I’m interested to get any ‘ang moh’ (white) or Arab guy or just any foreigners and he said that he knows a lot of ‘these people’ who are interested! I was like WTF???? And I was decently dressed! No cleavage showing no junk in the trunk or what so ever! That was really scary!

Now get back to the topic, here is how I’ll wear the dress…IF I PLAN TO WEAR IT ANYTIME SOON! *I still have the price tag on the dress till now*

i LOVE shopping in Bangsar!!!

Bangsar, Telawi Street

Last Wednesday somewhere last month, my friend, Kim and I went to Bangsar to shop coz Kim needed to find a new dress or formal wear for a function that we’re going to attend the somewhere that particular week. As for me, I dint plan to shop or anything (coz I was broke and promised not to shop for that month) but just to accompany her coz Bangsar is one of my fav place to shop and chill. It gets better at night.

So when we reached there we started by me going to a Punjabi store to thread my eyebrows. The only place I’ll do my threading in KL coz it’s really cheap (RM5 for eyebrows and RM10 for eyebrows and upper lips...pretty cheap eh?) and the Punjabi lady who did my threading knows how to adjust the shape of my eyebrow so that it’s not too thin but just nice. It’s quite hard sometime considering that I’ve non-even eyebrows…lol! Which is quite hard to thread but this lady jus know how to do them! My friend Kim wanted to try it at 1st since she never tried something like that but she sort of changed her mind after that... (hmmm maybe coz it looks kinda painful… ;-P)

Then off we go around Bangsar just going in from store to store looking and trying out one dress after another to find for the right dress and top but every time we got into a store, it seemed like the clothes are quite dull and boring (not to mention how much they cost!) till we reached a store call BLOOK…I love this store so much coz most of their clothes are the ones that I would wear and like.

So I broke my promise after I step into this store. Coz I can’t help it but to fall in love with this ‘Marilyn Monroe’ summer looking dress. With the colours and the cutting!!! Ohhh it’s so my style! Worse, after I tried ‘em on! I started by trying size-L (coz the ladyboy who served me said size-S would be too small to fit me when I asked him whether size-S can fit me in the beginning when I walked into the store) but it was too big! And then he gave me size-M…well it was ok but it was a bit loose on the under breast part so I finally asked for size-S!!!! Well the S fits perfectly on me! Kim thought so too… =) even the Indian lady who works at the store said I looked nice in the dress and she said the most flattering thing that no one else actually said to me before… wow! Miss you look really nice in this dress. As if it’s made especially for you! We had so many customers trying on this dress but somehow the dress just don’t seem to fit them right. It’s either the breast part, the back part but you look totally great in it even when you’re not wearing any bra but you still look great!

Hehe! Sometimes I’m glad that I have meat and not super skinny like some girls coz I personally like being curvy and voluptuous rather than skinny and flat!

And there people…!!! That was why I bought that dress even though I dint plan to shop that month but the lady was so sweet! I liked what she said to me. =) Oh yeah even the manager too! The guy with the super long hair! He said my shoes look cute with the dress! *wink wink*
My point here is, if you’re one of those people who happen to have your own boutique or just about any type of business, please be polite and nice to your customers coz they might not want to purchase your item in the 1st place but if you treat them nicely and politely, they might change their mind! Like me! =) I bought that dress! And I ended up owing Kim 100 bucks coz I was short of cash! Tsk tsk tsk…

Have anyone ever been so alone and lonely and thinking that there’s one person who is going to be on your side when you need him/her? Well all I wanted is for that someone to understand me and cares for me when I’m down… I don’t want to be in my shoes either but I can’t help it! No one can understand whatever the other person’s feeling unless they’ve been through it before. I’ve noticed that people have been trying to run away from me lately and these people are actually my friends and I’m still trying to figure that out. When everyone else is going away from me, I expected that this someone would at least be by my side when I needed someone to talk to but I guess I was wrong. People are people. You can never trust anyone or put any hopes on anyone coz one day you’ll see those hopes come crashing down in front of your eyes. And you know what hurts the most? This person who made you put those hopes in the first place is not even sorry on what happen. I never ask for anything but just one thing…! And it hurts when he can’t even seem to be able to do this one thing! Just be there for someone you care when they need you coz you’ll never know how to appreciate something/someone until you’ve lost them.

Hmmm...i had my E-test 2 for Tamadun Islam & Asia (Islamic & Asian Civilization) yesterday and i can say that i'm pretty impressed with myself! =) Well, considering the fact that i only started studying the night before the test and i dint attend the lectures, I did quite well! well maybe good! hehe! so far I got 40/50 for the 1st E-test and i got 46/50 for my 2nd E-test! and that means i only need 7 marks to pass my final paper, which of coz i will try my best to score more! who doesnt want to ace their finals isn't it? so after the test, groups of friends and i went to celebrate and went for movie! we watched '12 Rounds'! DAMN! I LIKE THAT MOVIE! it's full of suspense and that's what i like in a movie! =)

Yup you got it! It’s food that I’m going to talk about!!! Well who doesn’t love food?!?! Tell me? With the right way of cooking and occasion, food can be something that is very special and indeed something to treasure. What am about to share is food that I love and…food that I least like. I, myself specifically love the Chinese food! Growing in a Chinese community it’s hard to say that you don’t like Chinese food!

Secondly, I would say the Arabic food! Ever since I came to KL and tried the Arabic food for the 1st time, I just can’t get enough!

I kept craving for them and keep asking my sayang to bring me to the Arabic restaurant nearby. So here are some of the Arabic delicacies that I love!!!

And of course, thirdly I really love my own home cook delicacies which are specially cooked by my mom and my sister for me every time I’m back in Kuching…(well I don’t really cook at home coz my sis and my mom do most of the cooking… ;-p). Oh yeah, another dish that I would never say NO to is the ONE AND ONLY the ‘Laksa Sarawak’!!! It’s the BOMB!!! I have an Iranian friend who used to visit Kuching and tried the dish and ever since then he kept telling me that he’s been craving for it! And wonder if there’s any in KL…so I told him, I, myself is looking for ‘Laksa Sarawak’ in KL coz I’ve been craving for it too!!!

Well there go my favourite food…and now for my least favourite. I don’t really like Malay food coz of few reasons in particular. The main reason would be coz they put TOO MUCH SUGAR in every meal they cooked! I remembered watching a show on ‘Asia Food Channel’ (can’t really recall the name of the show though) whereby a chef from England whose hosting the show came to Malaysia and tryout some of the food here. And she did comment this ‘they do love sugar in their food’… so yeah… they really do love sugar in their food. I mean it’s ok to have sugar in your drink or your dessert like pie or pudding or cakes but not in your curry or rendang or some of the fried rice and noodles! I find that a bit too much! Some of the other reason would be they put too much coconut milk and cooking oil in most of the dishes.

Hmmm…I don’t have much things to say about Indian food coz basically I don’t really go to Indian restaurant that much but if I do, I make sure I go to the North Indian Restaurant in Bukit Bintang coz their chicken massala and chicken tikka is just so crazy! Makes you want more!!! Especially the chicken curry! I’ve never tasted something like that before! It’s superb!

But I don’t like any ‘mamak’ restaurant! Coz it’s really a waste of money! Their charges are ridiculous. I mean considering the fact that they serve lousy food but charged you like crazy?!?! That’s insane!

But then in KL you don’t just come across Malay food that’s sweet. Some of the other food too...like some of the Chinese food where they put extra sugar in their ‘mee soup’ (the one selling in my college), ‘the sweet and sour pork or chicken’ (well understood it’s called sweet and sour but that doesn’t mean they had to put like a kilo sugar in it till the gravy look so sticky coz of the sugar or the honey that they used) Seriously? How can you eat the food that is naturally NOT suppose to be sweet but some people tend to create their own recipe by putting extra sugar in it and it becomes extra sweet? Imagine people putting sugar in the pasta or the lamb chop? Would anyone actually eat that? I personally would be the 1st to say NO to that kinda food.

Oh yeah that’s the reason why I don’t like TGI FRIDAYS! The pasta sucks and they cost so much! And yeah they put sugar in whatever that Jack Daniel’s lamb thingy…it’s so eww!

Maybe that’s why I stick to Arabic food and some Chinese food or cook myself (I discovered that I’m quite a good cook myself…lol!) or if I’m desperate then I’ll opt for the fast food like McDonald’s when I’m in KL coz I don’t wanna ended up getting frustrated in the middle of eating and start complaining coz it’s too sweet..
